Born on January 1, 1944 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Robert Winford and Sidney McCarty Manor.
Jim graduated from Martinsburg High School and worked for Western Auto in Martinsburg for 19 years and then worked for McHenry Small Engine in Frederick, MD. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved spending time outdoors camping and fishing.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Kaye Manor, one daughter; Kelly Manor, and one sister; Margie Farrie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son; James W. Manor, Jr., step-mother; Ella Brown Manor, and one sister; Charlotte Hartman.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 26th from 6-9pm and on Thursday, March 27th from 12pm until the time of the service at 1pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
