Janet Shifflett

Born December 28, 1969 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of Jane Tennant and the late Jim Cole.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Cole; her step-father, Jack Tennant; her niece, Jaime Banks; her brother, Mark Cole, and her grandparents.

She was a former employee of the IRS and worshipped at Beth Haven Baptist Church.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister and will be sadly missed by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Robert Shifflett; two daughters: Tessa Shifflett, at home, and Lindsay Thompson and her husband, Matt, of Martinsburg; one grandson, Kellan Thompson; her mother, Jane Tennant; two sisters: Brenda Mouser and her husband, Chris, of Martinsburg and Vickie Burdette and her fiancé, Dwayne Linaburg, of Martinsburg; one brother, Keith Cole and one half brother, Scott Cole; a special cousin, Laura Ann Griffith; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Friends will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Friday from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
