Jessica was a devoted mother, wife, sister, niece, and friend—a source of kindness, strength, and unwavering support to everyone who knew her. She shared her beautiful smile freely, led with compassion, and left a lasting impact on the lives of her family and friends.
She deeply loved and cherished her husband. Together, they shared a remarkable bond built on affection, respect, laughter, and steadfast support. Nothing brought Jessica greater joy than being a mother and watching her three beautiful children grow and thrive. Her love for them was unconditional, unwavering, and evident in everything she did.
Jessica was truly a strong woman, fearless and never afraid to speak her mind. Yet beneath that tough exterior was one of the gentlest and kindest hearts imaginable. She encouraged others to learn, grow, and believe in themselves, offering wisdom, support, and encouragement whenever it was needed. She gave so much of herself to the people around her and was the kind of person you respected, admired, and felt fortunate to call a friend.
Anyone who spent time with Jessica knew that karaoke wasn't just a hobby—it was her stage. A true superstar on the local karaoke scene, she could captivate a crowd, bring people together, and turn an ordinary night into a memorable one.
Jessica's love, strength, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Mark Zonker; her father-in-law, Rodney Baker Sr.; and her grandfathers, Art Piatt III and Bruce Anastasia.
Some of Jessica’s happiest moments were spent riding on the back of a motorcycle with her husband. She loved the feeling of the wind, the open road ahead, and, most of all, the time spent together. Those rides were more than a hobby—they were moments of freedom, connection, and joy that reflected the love and adventure they shared throughout their life together.
Jessica found solace in taking walks along the river with her kids and she would be in full beast mode on the baseball field when she would practice with them. She loved helping to shape them into the superstars they will one day become.
Jess is survived by her loving husband, Rodney Baker Jr., and her beautiful children: Cameron, Rory, and Waylon.
Jess is survived by her mother, Christy Piatt; sister Abbey Zonker and niece Hazy; sister Brooklynn Zonker and nephew Markus; and brother Kyle Shepherd and niece Neveah.
