Because he has touched so many lives, we will be holding two services to celebrate John’s life:
The first will be held on October 29th at 5:00pm at Bridge Church, 117 S. Illinois Ave. Martinsburg, WV, followed by a light supper at Connections Community Church, 303 True Apple Way, Inwood, WV.
The second at Green Mountain Christian Center, 440 Main St. Bennington, VT, on November 5th at 10:00am, followed by a luncheon at Bethany Revival Church, 497 Main St. Bennington, VT.
John was born to Eleanora DiBari Brinzo and John Brinzo, their first of 8 children. Danny Brinzo (Carolyn), Michael Brinzo (deceased) Vito Brinzo (Paula) Mary Ann Coscia (Joseph), Joseph Brinzo (Jena), Nancy Russo (Anthony) Elizabeth Brinzo. They continued throughout their lives to be very close enjoying memories from childhood and competitive fun at The Yearly Brinzo Olympic Reunion.
John reached rank of Staff Sergeant in the Air Force where he served alongside Roger Pecz and Jimmy Downs, friends to this very day.
In our 40’s, we were privileged to become parents to Kayla Anne B. Brinzo and Megan Elena B. Farnam. John loved them both and was an amazing Dad, a hard worker to support them, a listening ear and so much fun. Megan and Will Farnam blessed us with Christopher John and Madison Elena, our dear grandchildren. The two of them think Pa IS The Very Best!!
John was known as a Bridge Builder, bringing people together with his warmth, smile, caring ways, sharp wit, wisdom and silly Dad jokes. But if I had to briefly describe John Brinzo, I would first say KIND and then I would add Available To Serve Others.
John was a deacon at Green Mountain Christian Center for 30 years, serving in multiple capacities, building maintenance, sound board technician, assisting in nursery, pulpit committee, serving at Men’s Breakfasts, but what he most enjoyed was playing drums on Sunday morning with the worship team.
He will be missed by many. All his family, including Brian and Kim Becker and those we refer to as the 45+ Club, those dear ones we have known through life. You know who you are.
John spent his last hour talking with us, making us laugh, and praying for his family. He is celebrating real life with Jesus His Saviour who he loved and lived for. What an example of a godly man.
In lieu of flowers if you desire, you may make a donation to the Connections Community Church Recreation Center project which is important to John. Connections Community Church, 303 True Apple Way, Inwood, WV
