Born in Szeged, Hungary, he is the son of the late John F. Taba, Sr. and Rozalia (Iszlai) Taba.
John worked as a chef at the Sheraton and at Nick’s Place.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha (Rodriguez) Taba; her son, Phillip Taba; two daughters, Julia (Taba) Sites and Sophia Taba; brother Lazlo Taba, Sr., and wife, Susan; nephew, Lazlo Taba, Jr.
He is also survived by grandchildren Elijah, Brock, and Jericho.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:00 am in Rosedale Cemetery.
