Joshua Raymond

It is with great sadness the family mourns the passing of Joshua Jason Raymond, 33 of Martinsburg who died in his home on October 7th, 2021. Joshua was born on August 9th, 1988 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a resident of NY for his early childhood years until moving as a teenager to West Virginia. He graduated from Musselman High School in 2006 and attended college at Shepherd University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 2011. He later received a master's degree from North Western in project management. He was employed at Veterans Affairs

Joshua enjoyed his family and friends, gaming, computer technology, a love of cars and the open road leading to many adventures.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Joyce Raymond of Martinsburg, his older brother, Vincent Raymond of Martinsburg , his younger sister, Nicolette Raymond of Martinsburg, his paternal grandmother , Carol Enson of West Haven CT, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joshua is now reunited with his father, Mark Raymond.

As the family grieves his loss, they are comforted by the memory of his kind and gentle manner. They will remember his mischievous grin. He was a kind man of few words who loved animals, but he is unforgettable to those that met him, a true friend to those he left behind. He will remain in their hearts and memories until they meet again
