Justus will be remembered as a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew him. He carried a warm sense of humor that could lighten a room. He had a special love for animals, especially his dog, Zara, who held a dear place in his heart. Above all, Justus was devoted to the people he loved, and he would do anything for them.
Music was one of his enduring joys. He loved it deeply and could play several instruments, though the guitar was his constant favorite. His appreciation for beauty extended beyond sound into art, he was a natural creative soul. He also found great peace in nature and valued time spent outdoors.
Justus is survived by his parents: Niki Slaughter (TJ Cromwell) and Donald Kinnie; four brothers who he loved very much: JJ and KB Cromwell and Marshall and Lionel Kinnie; grandparents: Caroline and Fay Slaughter and Mary Helen and Donald Eugene Kinnie; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
