Keith Keith Carlson

C. Keith Carlson, 70, of Hedgesville, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in Winchester Medical Center.

Born on December 10, 1940 in Adolph, WV, he was the son of the late Ronald G. and Emma (Kiess) Carlson.

He graduated from Elkins High School in 1959.

He was a US Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era.

He worked all aspects of the construction business and also spent six years with the West Virginia State Police.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Carlson.

He is survived by his loving wife Catherine (Bennett) Carlson, a daughter, Jennifer King, two sons, Max Carlson and Bryan VanMetre, Jr, three sisters, Mary Ann Dick, Coryless Metheny, Cydell Palavido, and a brother, Joe Carlson.

He is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
