Kenneth E. Day

June 21, 1936 - June 20, 2015

Kenneth Ellsworth Day, 78 of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nora Riggleman and Jesse Day; and two sons: Kenny and Mark Day.

He is survived by his devoted, caring, and loving wife, Barbara Ann Day; one son, Albert Baker and his wife, Dianne, of Martinsburg; one brother, Marion Day and his wife, Judy; two loving granddaughters: Allison and Brandy Baker, both of Martinsburg; three additional young ladies who have grown to love him as their grandfather, Asia, India, and China Boyd, all of Martinsburg; and his loving sidekick and best friend, Cooper. Everywhere that Kenneth went Cooper was sure to follow. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kenneth was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins, Nationals Baseball Team, and Martinsburg Bulldogs High School Football. He never missed a game, whether he was watching on television or listening to it on the radio.

He was a retired mixer driver and enjoyed his job.

Friends will be received on Friday from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am at Rosedale Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
