I know I'm late to this, but I couldnt bring myself to write something. But now that I can, i just want to say thank you to everyone who was there to support all of us and celebrate an amazing mans life. My grandfather has been and always will be my own personal super hero. He helped me get through a lot of things and I can never thank him enough for all he has done for me. I love you Pappy. Thank you for being you. <3

I will always cherish my memories of you. Gene you taught me how to ride a bike, took me trick or treating. Made dummies and cannons from soda cans. Worked on race car with you spent many times watching you race, many fun times on the dance floor at the VFW and Moose. Fun times we had at family gatherings guessing who got gloves and a can of peanuts and gum. We share and love one thing of life that I wouldn't have second thoughts about. We shared many conversations and memories. I'm going to miss you but I'm thankful you aren't suffering anymore. I will always have a special love in my heart for you and Lisa. Left family behind to be with family in heaven. I will miss you my brother your family on earth will be fine. Love you GENE

Lisa, I am praying so hard for you, your girls, grandbabies and friends & family of Gene. Although, I never got to meet him, I always loved the stories you shared with me at work about him. I know you loved him immensely. Take time and be kind to yourself. My sincerest of thoughts are with you, dear.

The first time I met my father in law he cracked a joke and I thought what have I gotten myself into. But fast forward through 18 yrs I can never express the amount of time I spent with him and Lisa and it was never enough! I loved him as my own father! I gave him his first grandchild whom he loved dearly as he did all his grandchildren! We miss you and will love you forever! Love your daughter, Michelle

I was angry and mad at the world, the day you were called home. I was being so selfish and wanted you here with me. You suffered enough and was tired. I got over being selfish and I am glad you walked through heaven gates. I am so proud of you. You were the best husband, father and grandfather. We will all miss you. Love you and enjoy your new journey in life. The kids and I will be fine.
