Lawrence W. Wilt, 91, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Miami VA hospital. Born May 22, 1919 in Martinsburg WV; He was the son of the late Lewis W. Wilt and Lillie Rickard Wilt.
Lawrence was a veteran of the U.S. Army; he served 25yrs with WWII service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal.
He will be sadly missed by all his children and grandchildren. He was our hero.
Services will be on Saturday, February 12 at 11am with a one hour visitation prior to the service at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martinsburg. Elder Richard Wilburn of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, Martinsburg, WV will be officiating.
