

Born on May 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Clara Louise Anstey.
A daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, she leaves behind a legacy of being loving and compassionate to everyone she met.
Being a person with many skills, some of her hobbies included crafting, sewing, cake decorating, and interior design. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and would often reach out to help those in need and let others know they were loved. She always prepared extra holiday meals for orphanages, rescue missions, or people who were lonely.
Linda was a member of Heritage Freewill Baptist Church and completed the Walk to Emmaus during the fall of 2013.
She is survived by her children: Clarinda Louise McNett (Dale) of Bridgewater, VA, James David Bond (Candice) of Triangle, VA, Mike James (Faun) of Wellsboro, PA, Mike Bradley (Becky) of Gillett, PA, and Gregory Arthur Bond (Jeannie) of Martinsburg, WV; siblings: Robin Westling and Loretta “Lollie” Anstey; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John L. Babb; her son, Kenneth Bond; and siblings: Johnnie, Stanley, and Judy Anstey.
The family expresses gratitude for the compassionate care received from Martinsburg Healthcare and Hospice of the Panhandle.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Heritage Freewill Baptist Church, 2395 Middleway Pike, Bunker Hill, WV on October 18, 2025 at 1:00pm.
