Lloyd Mull

Lloyd Granvill “Buddy” Mull Jr, 76 of Martinsburg, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Born on January 27, 1946 in Charles Town, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lloyd Granvill and Florence I. (Shackelford) Mull Sr.

Buddy was a mechanic who worked hard and genuinely took pride in the skilled jobs he performed. He enjoyed fishing and playing bingo, as well as a variety of sports. But most of all, he looked forward to spending time making new memories with his family.

He was a wonderful husband and father who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed making new friends; in his eyes there was never a stranger among him. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty (Harris) Mull; children: Tammy (Mike) High, Phillip (Michaela) Schlack; grandchildren: Erica Schlack, Lance Breeden, Shannon Haynes; great-grandchildren: Mackenzie Williams, Sarah Williams; great-great grandchild, Madison Williams; siblings: Joyce “Sid” (Bill) Brandenburg, Linda “Lynn” Files; many cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Marcia Schlack, and brother James E. Whittman.

Family will schedule services for Buddy at a later time.
