Born in Brooklyn, New York, Lonnie was a longtime resident of Leesburg. He was the author of Turn Off Your Television, among other publications, and long standing member of the International Caucus of Labor Committees. He was well known for his inquisitive mind, independent thinking, and lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Deeply generous by nature, he was always willing to help others, freely sharing his time, knowledge, and encouragement with those around him.
