Louise was born April 10, 1943, in Washington D. C., the daughter of Louis and Florence LaJoice.
Throughout her life, Louise was always present for her family, providing her two children with a successful start in life. Her dedication and love for her family were evident in every aspect of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Florence LaJoice, and her sister, Leona Adams.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert W. Kerns; two children, Deanna M. Morgan and Robert W. (“JR”) Kerns; two grandchildren, Elle and Kellan Kerns; and her brother Rickie LaJoice and wife Nancy.
Louise was an avid animal lover. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to The ResQ, 33 Bufflehead Dr., Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, 25425.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2026 at 1 pm. The family will contact loved ones and friends with details of the location for services.
