Margaret Jane (Caton) Hess passed away on October 2, 2025, at Martinsburg Healthcare Center. She was born on June 11, 1927, in Martinsburg, WV., to the late John and Sarah Caton. She retired as a factory worker from Corning.
Margaret is survived by her son, Larry Barney, grandson, Shannon Barney, two sisters-in-law: Evelyn Caton and Margaret Ann, and several nieces and nephews.
In Addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hess, her beloved son, Paul Wayne Barney and his father Paul M. Barney, and 11 siblings.
