Marian E. Rudy

Born on August 19, 1945, on a small farm along Poor House Road in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Marjorie Pearl Miller and John Andrew “Bud” Miller. Marian was the second of seven children and grew up in a close-knit and loving family. She is survived by her siblings: Joyce R. Cope of Langhorne, PA; Constance E. Lewis, Linda K. Miller, and A. Janine Mongan, all of Martinsburg; John A. Miller Jr. of Kearneysville, WV; and Sonya R. DiPalma of Asheville, NC.

Marian was a devoted and loving mother to her children, April Dawn Potts (Warren)and David L. Rudy II (Stacy) all of Martinsburg, WV. She had three grandchildren: Timothy Potts (Kellyann)of Martinsburg, Emily E. Rudy-Ryan (Kyle)of Wheeling, WV and Hailey A. Rudy of Morgantown, WV. One great grandaughter, Aubrey Potts and a great grandson on the way.

Her life was centered around her family, and she took great pride in nurturing and supporting her loved ones through all of life’s joys and challenges.

Marian’s kindness, strength, and quiet grace will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services and burial will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family will receive friends on June 22, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at Rosedale Funeral Home on June 23, 2025 at 11 am, with burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
