Melvin Pat S Williams

Born June 14, 1919 in Big Pool, MD, he was the son of the late Charles A. Williams and Bertha Hall Williams.

Pat served our country in the US Army. He was retired from the City of Philadelphia and Mack Truck. Pat enjoyed golfing, traveling, and singing in a local men’s choir. Pat was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years.

Pat is survived by a host of nieces and nephews and their families. He is preceded in death by his wife Grace E. Williams; six brothers: Carroll Williams, Merrill Williams, S. Kermit Williams, T. Andrew Williams, Kenneth Williams, and John Williams; and three sisters: Evelyn Duke, Kathryn Howard, and Alice Williams.

Friends may call Friday, July 8, 2011 from 6 to 8p.m. at Rosedale Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11a.m. at Rosedale Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd McCanna and Rev. Dr. G. Edward Grove officiating.

Interment will immediately follow the service at Rosedale Cemetery.
