Ohhh, sweet Millie....There simply isn't room for all the words in my heart. I met Millie about 12 years ago when she came into my office at Stony Pointe Apartments. She was much more than just a tenant. She was a friend. She would announce her appearance at my door by saying, "Here comes trouble." She was always such a delight to be near. She would sit across from my desk and we would talk for a long time about most anything. I retired two years ago, but still when in Martinsburg, I would knock on her door and she always made me feel as if I was the most welcome person in the world. She loved my blueberry muffins. Mmmmm, maybe that was why she was always glad to see me. I wonder. Her family can be very proud of her and the life she lived, and she did live her life. She enjoyed so many things and the people in her life were very special to her. She is sadly missed and I will think of her many, many times over the coming years. I'm sure God had a very soft and beautiful place picked out just for her.

So sorry to hear about Millie's passing. We were classmates together at Kings Daughters Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1965. She was a remarkable lady.

Oh how I loved Miss Millie! I was a young, timid, scared nursing student 30 years ago when we met. She was so sweet, with just the right amount of sassy. She was a wonderful instructor! After I became an RN, I’d see her around the hospital here and there, for many years, and she always remembered me. She truly was the real deal. Rest In Peace, dear Miss Millie. ❤️

Millie was one of my favorite people of all time. I worked with her at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She was one of the "youngest" people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. I'll never forget her kindnesses and her bright expression and the twinkle in her eye. When she spoke with you, you were the center of her attention. God bless you Millie and may you rest in peace.

Milly was an excellent nursing instructor. In 1995 I was one semester away from graduating with my ADN. There were many skills I had yet to perform or observe. Milly took the time to figure out what each student in my group needed and we discussed it as a group and agreed to share out patients. Basically if my patient needed a foley removed and I’d already performed that skill I agreed to let another student perform the task under Millys supervision. One day Milly knew I was nervous about doing something for a patient. She looked me in the eye and said Jennie I’m with you, I’m not gonna let you hurt anyone “. That statement removed all my fear and gave me confidence. I’ve never forgotten it. Thank you Milly

I had the honor of having Mrs. Noll as a nursing instructor 13 years ago as well as working with her grandson Jason in the past. Mille truly touched the lived of hundreds of nursing students over the years and was a staple in the SU nursing community. Even seeing her a few months, she was sharp as a tack and loved to chat about our rotations at the VA in Martinsburg. She lead a full life that we should all be envious of. I hope your family finds comfort in knowing how many of us loved Mrs. Noll.
