

Patricia A Gregas of Martinsburg, WV. passed away in her home on January 28, 2025. She was preceded in death by parents Pollard and Mary Mulligan, her brothers Thomas and Robert, her beloved husband of 56 years John N and son John C.
A loving mother, she is survived by her children Joan Anne Gregas and Jennifer Runkles (Kenneth); Loving Grandmother to (4) Grandchildren, (3) Great Grandchildren. Her sisters Edith Buranovsky, Maurita Mulligan, Mary Lu Stainback (David), and brother Edward Mulligan (Romy), and brother-in-law Carl Gregas (Enni). Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Patty was born on September 26,1943 in Carrolltown, PA. After graduating from John Carroll High School her secretarial skill led her to Virginia. Along with being a devoted wife and loving mother, Patty’s outgoing personality aided her in various employments through the years meeting people as customers and clients in the financial field and students, parents of students, and school administrators in the educational field. Patty enjoyed spending time with her family and being part of Go Pink DC’s Dragon Boat team. She had a deep devotion to the Catholic Church and in particular to our Blessed Mother. She was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church and School in Alexandria, VA. for 55 years. She was involved in many groups, projects and activities, including serving as the school’s Administrator for over 10 years. Patty’s strong Catholic faith guided her life, was her strength and solace through tragedies, and her comfort in her unwavering belief of eternal life with God.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Queen Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401 on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 10:00am. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Carrolltown, PA. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to St. Joseph Catholic P.O Box 885, 25402 (mailing address) or St. Joseph Catholic School, 110 E. Stephen St., Martinsburg, WV 25401.
