Paul Michael Stewart Sr., 52, passed away on August 24, 2026. Born on August 23, 1974, in Bethesda, Maryland, he was the son of Debbie Stewart and the late Paul Wade. Paul was a devoted father and grandfather whose steady love and presence were deeply felt by those closest to him.
Paul enjoyed the simple, meaningful pleasures of life—especially football, faithfully cheering for his favorite team, the Redskins. He also found joy in fishing and in the energy of live music concerts, interests that brought him both relaxation and connection with others.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie Stewart, and step father Walter Stewart Sr.; children, Ashley Stewart, Brittany Stewart, Paul Stewart Jr., and Alyssa Stewart; siblings, Walter Stewart Jr., Lisa Varela, and Lisa Wade; 8 grandchildren; and 2 nieces.
In addition to his father Paul Wade, he was preceded in death by his wife, Michele Stewart, and grandparents, Herbert and Betty Ward.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on September 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm until the start of Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
