I'm glad he stopped to talk to me while I was mowing.   My cousin  had some kind of strength that helped me through a couple of times.   May family and friends get many prayers throughout their loss.

I was saddened to learn of Randy’s passing and my deepest sympathies and condolences to his family. Randy was a friend and I knew him from the credit union, but had not gotten to talk to him  for the past few months since leaving there.

Randy was a wonderful part of our street ministry in Martinsburg for many years. I remember making and delivering meals to him when he got sick, we would chat for hours over coffee and he would share his stories, trials and triumphs. He held strong to his faith in Christ and loved showing off his Dukes of Hazard collection. We really had a blast repainting in his home and got soaked hosing down his bannisters only to have a rain storm hit so we laughed and laughed! We would discuss the scriptures as I attempted to hem his curtains only to have technical issues with the bobbin which sent him into such a fit of laughter that I had to turn his O2 tank back on. He had such a beautiful heart and a love for people. He would always donate to the ministries when he was downsizing because he there were others in need who could use it. Pappa Randy you will be missed but I know Jesus has you now and you really breathe. My love always brother, and the love of my children and grandsons too who adored you!

I’ve known Randy for several years and we connected because of our prior military service. I got to be good friends with Randy and he had a good heart and a down to earth personality. Rest in peace in Jesus arms and will be seeing you again.

Randy was a great guy he will truly be missed may he fly high with the angels! My condolences to the family.

Randy was always a good neighbor to us on Virginia Avenue. We remained good friends. We have many good memories. He was someone to be counted on.  He had such a heart of gold if anyone chose to really got to know him. He had a strong faith and was a devoted Christian.  You could observe that as he was always helping others in their time of need. He might come off as a rough and tough guy, but he had a solid heart of gold. We valued Randy and his strong and determined work ethics. His military service to our great nation will not be forgotten. 

Thank you Randy for being the neighbor and friend that you were to my three children, my husband, and me. You were so fun to be around. May God’s peace and love comfort you and your family now and forever.

Randy took me under his wing 25 years ago and raised me when he didn’t have to. Step dads are special because they don’t NEED to raise you, they want to. Randy did everything to ensure I was safe, fed, healthy, and had a roof over my head.  He shaped me into the woman I am today and I can’t thank him enough. I am so so grateful for the many years we spent together. I can’t wait to see you again on the other side.  I’ll always be your little girl. Love you always, Sierra. Xoxo

I am so sorry to hear about Randy's passing. To Teresa and the rest of the family, you have my sincerest condolences. 
I meant Randy when I was a young child. He worked with my dad at continental brick. He and my dad became very close friends. 
Im going to share a funny story.  I worked with his mom when I turned about 18 years old. When I realized she was Randy's mom, I told her how close he and my dad were. She said, oh I can't believe that. Randy doesn't like too many people. Well the next day, she told me that I was right. Randy really liked my dad. Hahaha
Randy and my dad were always there for one another. We visited him and he would visit us. My dad was a single father and whenever he needed Randy to check on us or anything,  Randy was there. He was so funny too.
