Lynn was born July 23, 1940, in Martinsburg, WV. He was the son of the late Samuel Raymond Rice and Agnes Mason Rice.
Lynn was a graduate of Martinsburg High School, then served in the United States Navy. Afterward, Lynn was employed by Corning Glass Works until his retirement. He previously attended Winchester Avenue Christian Church.
Lynn is survived by his daughter, Tina A. Rice of Martinsburg and granddaughter, Chloe E. Laufer; sister, Karen (Dannie) Ritenour and brother, Dennis (Judi) Rice; a niece and nephew.
A private graveside service will be held at Rosedale Cemetery.
