Rennes Franklin Carbaugh

Rennes Franklin Carbaugh, 84, of Martinsburg, passed away July 13, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Harrisburg, PA.

Rennes was born August 10, 1927 in Waynesboro, PA. He was the son of the late Rennes Elmer Carbaugh and Sallie Evelyn Carbaugh Lemaster.

He served our country in the US Navy in WWII and the Korean War. Rennes was an active member of Westview Baptist Church, Martinsburg Rescue Mission, Jr. Order of United American Mechanics, and a past City Councilman.

Rennes is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marjorie Carbaugh; two sons, Franklin Carbaugh, and Bryan Carbaugh and his wife April; one daughter, Cindy Jackman and husband Dr. Dennis Jackman; five grandchildren, Susan Wathen, Gregory Carbaugh, Rachel Jackman, Dennis Edward Jackman II, and Rennes Dale Carbaugh; and two great grandsons, Alexander Wathen and Christian Wathen.

He is preceded in death by one infant son, Daniel Rennes Carbaugh, and one sister, Dorothy C. Myers.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at Westview Baptist Church in Martinsburg, WV at 11am on Wednesday, July 18, 2012.

Interment will immediately follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
