Born February 22, 1928 in Bunker Hill, WV, he was the son the late Edgar and Edith Collins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Collins, nine sisters and four brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Basford of Gerrardstown; two sisters, Anna Laura Linton of MI, and Gladys DuBose of Falling Waters. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was retired from Musselmans Knouse Food, where he was known as “Busy Bob”. He also worked at Patient Transportation, Norm Thompson, and various volunteer positions. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.
He attended Family Life Worship and Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM today at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
Funeral Services will be 2:30 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martinsburg with Bishop David Palmer officiating
Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
