He was born on June 3, 1936 in York, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Licthenberger) Cramer.
Robert was a graduate from Martinsburg high School. He was a Sargent in the United States Army. Robert was retired from the Department of Defense, where he was an engineer.
Robert was a member of Charles Town Moose Lodge #948. A current member and past member of Malta Masonic Lodge # 80, Charles town where he served as Past District Deputy Grand Master for West Virginia, as well as P.H.P for Jefferson Chapter #5 Royal Arch Masons. He followed all local high school sports but his #1 team was Martinsburg Bulldogs.
In his younger years, he was an outdoors man and avid turkey hunter. He enjoyed wood carving and was a fan of stock car racing. He also enjoyed spending time in the mountains with his friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Kelly Greenstreet and husband Glen of Martinsburg and Kristi Cramer of Martinsburg; grandson: Tyler Greenstreet and wife Maxine of Bunker Hill; great grandsons Camdyn Bragg of Hedgesville and Easton Greenstreet of Bunker Hill; brother: Jerry Cramer and wife Bev of Inwood; sisters: Barb Lee of Cool Ridge, West Virginia and Jane Boney of South Hill, Virginia.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by the love of his wife and love of his life Neale Cramer; sister: Mary Ann Airey; brother: Lawrence Cramer and close friend and nephew, Steve Cramer.
