Robert Stanley Grubb

Robert “Stan” Grubb, 69, of Martinsburg went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013at his home. Born March 24, 1944 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Martha Grubb.

Robert served our country in the U.S. Army, was a Martinsburg City Police Officer, and was employed with the West Virginia Air National Guard from which he retired in 2002. He was active as an Explorer Scout Leader with the Air National Guard, the Martinsburg High School band boosters, and The Big Brother Big Sister organization.

He is survived by his daughter, Faith Grubb, his son, Joshua Grubb and his wife Amanda, his former wife and mother of his children Linda Grubb, his companion Nancy Hodgson and her children Christine and husband Mark, Tina and husband Mike, Chuck and his wife Angie, and grandchildren Nicole, Josh, Matthew, Christopher, Lexi and great grandchildren Allie, Trent, Bailey Ann, and Hudson.

Funeral Services will be at 2pm on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Rosedale Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.

Interment will immediately follow at Rosedale Cemetery with military rites.
