Robert C. Stevens Jr.

Robert C. Stevens, Jr., 80, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on May 11, 2013 at Martinsburg VAMC.

Born September 2, 1932, he was the son of the late Robert Stevens, Sr. and Helen Smith.

Robert served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam War. He retired from the US Air Force and the United States Postal Service. Robert enjoyed coin and stamp collecting.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Stevens of 43 years; four daughters, Edith H. Cowan, Dana Rooney Fisher and husband Steve Fisher, Tara Rose Allen, Carolyn Keister; one sister, Betty Moyer and husband Ray Moyer; two nieces, Diane and Patsy Moyer; 14 grandchildren, Gregory, Christopher, Jonathan, Michael, Ryan, Kevin, Kaitlin, Tarah, Christina, Thomas, Stephen, Michelle, Kathryn, and Gregory; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Robert is preceded in death by one daughter, Vicki Wilt.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home in Martinsburg, WV.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2pm at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd. Brentwood, MD 20722, (301) 864-5090.
