So sorry to hear  of this great loss! Thoughts and prayers are with Ron and family.

It is no secret that our adult relationship has been estranged for many years. I guess, my inner child, always longed for the childhood mom I remember; happy, laughing, and full of life.  Retiring from “Walton’s Mountain”, as you used to call it, it appears you were able to find yourself once again.
Despite the distance, my childhood memories and love we shared remain in my heart. We may not have been able to give you a star on the Hollywood, Walk of Fame, but in your memory a star was purchased in your name.

I have fond memories, as a young child, of how happy and carefree you were. You would love singing and playing all your favorite albums; anything from Chicago, Neil Diamond, to Barry Manilow. I don’t think I will ever hear “Weekend in New England” and not smile.
I recall the countless afternoons we spent dancing around the living room, our laughter with the tunes of "Sweet Caroline" and "Copacabana." Those were moments that captured pure joy, moments that have left a lasting mark on my heart.
I too smile when remembering our concert excursions. Rick Springfield, my very first concert. You and I swore it was him waving back and forth with us from his hotel window. The next round of boy band era, supporting my love for New Kids on the Block. It down poured the night of the concert, but we stuck it out, along with you sticking their tour poster down your pants to keep it from getting wet. Concert nights were always special with you. The anticipation, the thrill of being part of a live performance – even if it meant unconventional methods to save a cherished poster.
If anyone would have ever needed an education on Hollywood, you were perfect for the job. We would make a big pot of chili, on a Sunday afternoon, while Dad was skiing, and watch all the classics. You loved Hollywood so much you even named me after Vivian Leigh, from your favorite movie, “Gone with the Wind.” Your passion for cinema was infectious. You had an encyclopedic knowledge of films and could narrate the behind-the-scenes stories with such enthusiasm that it felt like we were part of the Hollywood magic. You always wanted to be an actress and even had a little taste appearing as an extra in the movie “Ladybugs” and “Perry Mason” …you found your happy place.
Your laugh was contagious. As kids, we always knew the neighbor's house you were visiting, as we could hear your laugh from a mile away. It was a laugh that could light up a room, a laugh that brought comfort and joy to everyone around you.  Pt 1

Neighbor:
My family and I met Ron and Robin when they moved next door. Needless to say, they both connected with us in so much that they had spent their first Thanksgiving with us.
Robin was such a joy. She liked dancing, socializing and was just a beautiful carefree soul.
I missed our conversations and seeing the gleam in her eyes when she spoke about her family.  Robin will certainly be missed but memories of our friendship will live on. Rest in peace dear!!

I’ve known Robin for 63 years.  We met in first grade as some of the first families of Bowie.  We loved the Kelly boys together and loved catching up at reunions and sharing memories about the good old days when Bowie was young and innocent.  I will always remember her fondly

Momma Winstead will be truly missed by so many. I cherished every moment that I was blessed to be in her presence. She was a wonderful loving and caring woman that lived her family like no other. I'm praying and here for all of Winstead family. Lost is never easy , she is smiling down on each one of us. Until we meet again, much love from the Selph family

I remember when I first met Momma Windstead she treated me like I was one of her kids always saying that's my Carlos she was an amazing person and couldn't ask for a better big brother like Ronnie she will forever be in my prayers and thoughts you will be missed but never forgotten condolences from the Bennett Clan
