Born on May 4, 1980 in Winchester, Virginia, he was the son of Roger and Cheri Hamood.
Roger earned his Bachelors/Masters Degrees from Shepherd University and taught social studies at Martinsburg High School for 2.5 years. He was a kind and caring individual who was always available to listen and provide guidance to his students.
He enjoyed billiards, hunting, fishing, sports, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Amanda and her husband, Brad; nephews: Colt, Cru, and Cash; one aunt and several cousins.
