Roger Lee Hitt

Born on May 13, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late Arlie and Mary Hitt.

Roger was a proud Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War, he was also an avid fisher and hunter and enjoyed watching antique car Auctions.

His presence will be deeply missed by his sons Adam Hitt and Jesse Hitt both of Martinsburg, West Virginia; brothers: Berry Hitt, Randy Hitt, Larry Hitt, Jeff Hitt of Baltimore, Maryland and Garry Hitt of Kearneysville, West Virginia; sisters: Shirley Hitt of Kearneysville and June Hitt of Baltimore, Maryland; seven loving grandchildren; nephew: AJ Hitt; his caregiver of seventeen years, Eloise L. Domenico, and his two cats.

A visitation will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on Friday November 29, 2024 at 10 am until the start of funeral service at 11 am. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Berry Hitt, Randy Hitt, AJ Hitt, Larry Hitt and Jeff Hitt.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Panhandle.
