Born on October 31, 1927 in Martinsburg he was the son of the late Russell J. and Nina Braithwaite
Scrivener.
He is survived by his wife of 74 years Helen Bowers Scrivener.
Russell was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked at the Continental Clay Brick Company,
and Schewels Furniture Company, and he attended Independent Bible Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Robert ( Bob) Scrivener and a sister
Waunita Orr Bartles.
A Grave Side Service will be held on Friday April 21, 2023 at 11:00 am in Rosedale Cemetery.
