Born on October 22, 1942, in Glens Falls, New York, she was the daughter of the late Ivan N. Kessler, Sr. and Ruby W. Kessler.
Sharon is survived by her brothers Ivan, Jr. of South Glastonbury, Connecticut and Murrell of Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Along with her brothers, she is survived by "a sister from another mother" Patti, several nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis.
Sharon lived in many places in her life. After being born in New York, she moved with her family to West Virginia, Connecticut and California, where she settled on her own for over 50 years. In 2022, she returned to West Virginia to be with family.
She attended Schools for the Blind in both Hartford, CT and Romney, WV, where she earned her Associates Degree.
