Susan F. Davis On April 18, 1950, when the biological life of Susan emerged from her mother, God created a never dying soul and combined it with the biological life and Susan Fay (Rogers) Davis was born. Ecclesiastes 3:2 - a time to be born. On November 18, 2025 God separated Susan's soul from her biological life and she died. Ecclesiastes 3:2 - a time to die. Both the beginning of her human life and the ending of her human life were the perfect decisions of God. John 1:21 - The LORD gave (combining biological life with soul life to create human life at birth) and the LORD hath taken away (separated biological life from soul life at death): blessed be the name of the LORD. Many years before her death, Susan had placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior. Acts 16:31 - Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. At that moment God the Holy Spirit created a human spirit and placed it in her soul. Into that human spirit, God the Father gave Susan the very same eternal life and the very same perfect righteousness that He has. These two requirements are needed to spend eternity with Him. Susan was married to John F. (Fred) Davis III for 55 years. They have two daughters, Amy Fultineer (husband - Bill) and Tracy Horner (husband - Mark). She has six grandchildren - Madison Fultineer, Makenzie Fultineer, McKenna Fultineer, McKinley Fultineer, Cole Horner, and Cate Horner. Susan's mother, Mary Rogers and father, Harry "Bud" Rogers are both deceased. She has three brothers, David Rogers (wife - Sherry) James Rogers (wife - Kenda), and Mark Rogers (wife - Leslie). She also has many nieces and nephews. Susan spent the first few years of her married life working as secretary at the Eastern Panhandle Training Center in Martinsburg. With the birth of her first child, she became a full time mother to her children and then a full time "Mimi" to her six grandchildren until they began school. Though we as her family and friends are saddened by the completion of Susan's life on earth, we rejoice in her promotion into the very presence of Jesus Christ in Heaven. II Corinthians 5:8 - Absent from the body, present (means face to face) with the Lord The greatest decision in life, the one decision that places any person into the Plan of God forever, is to tell God in the privacy of their own soul that they are believing in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
