

She was a loving mother to, Bentley Edward Dillon of Fountain, Colorado where he lives with his father and stepmother, Justin and Mariah Dillon.
Tayler attended Valley View Elementary School where she made friends and played on the playground for hours. In Kindergarten, Tayler played basketball on the Mighty Mites league in Berkeley County. Tayler was a member of Four Star Gymnastics in Williamsport, MD for 3 years. She attended Potomac Intermediate School where she participated in the school play, Annie. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, walking thru the neighborhood, and being a typical pre-teen. In 2009, Tayler was a member of the National League of Junior Cotillions. In the 2010, Tayler won the Patriot Award at Spring Mills Middle. She was also a member of the school choir. Tayler was a member of the First Baptist Church in Martinsburg, WV where she was baptized and accepted Christ into her heart. She was a member of the children's choir and participated in Awanas, youth trips and youth conferences. Tayler had a heart to help those in need and serve others. Tayler had a love for music from a very early age. That love carried thru her life. She was a member of the Rhythm n’ Motion Dance Studio and a member of the Turning Pointe Dance Company. In 2011, she learned pointe and was the Winter Fairy in the 2012 production of Cinderella. In 2013, she had a part in the dance company’s, Swan Lake performance. Her passion was with hip hop where she choreographed and competed in a solo competition after attending a hip hop class in NYC. She also choreographed and competed in the High School talent competition with a close friend. Tayler attended Hedgesville High School in Hedgesville, WV while working at Cinco De Mayo. In March of 2014, she gave birth to her son. After, doubling her classes she graduated a year early in May of 2014 and walked the stage. On her 18th birthday, she moved to Junction City, Kansas to live the life of an Army wife and mom. She worked at Cracker Barrel, where she received recognition for her hard work and customer service. She made many friendships and loved going on adventures on the flint hills of Kansas. She loved being in nature where she would find serenity. Tayler moved home in June of 2020. In her final months, you would find her bouncing, smiling self, behind the counter at Sheetz in Spring Mills. She was always eager to work and pick up shifts when she could. She also worked part time at Carter Lumber in Williamsport, MD, where she energetically was motivated by the records she helped set in the shop. Tayler was always a hard worker and would go after anything she set her mind to.
Tayler will be remembered in many ways. None more than the love for her son. Their bond was unbreakable. Her patience as a mother was a lesson to all.
Tayler is survived by, grandparents: Eddie and Betty Brown of Martinsburg WV, Janie Gallagher of Frederick, OK, Ed and Rebecca Gallagher of Cedar Keyes, FL; aunt, Kista Brown Opoku-achampong of Martinsburg, WV; cousins, Akwasi and Kofi Opoku-achampong; uncle, Kevin Gallagher of Frederick, OK; aunt, Cristy Gallagher Peters and Colin Peters of Lexington, NC; great aunts and uncles: Rickey Bolles, Larry and Rosie Bolles, Kim Moore of Ok, Karen and Bill Bly of TX, Linda White, Ima Thomas, Cathy and Maynard Armstrong, Carolyn and Jerry Sanders, Dick and Cindy Dodge of WV, Mildred and Buddy O’Haver, George and Linda Brown, and Carol Brown of MD; and countless cousins.
In addition to her family, she leaves behind very close friends. CD Wilson of Junction City, KS and Mariah Lewis of Martinsburg, WV. Both of whom always had her best interest at heart.
She was preceded in death by her cousin, Zackary Wayne Gallagher of OK; great grandparents: Edmund and Johnnie Gallagher of TX; Faye and Larry Underwood of OK; Everett "Buck” and Ruth Dodge; Mondell Brown and Warden Brown of WV.
She will be loved the way she loved.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a trust, donations may be made to Edward Dillon for the benefit of Bentley Edward Dillon.
