Born September 26, 1932 in Sykesville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Robinson.
Thelma was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons: Kevin E. Thomas (Diane) and Eric E. Thomas (Karen); one brother, Spencer Shelton; one sister, Dorothy Hallman (John); two sister-in-laws: Jeanette Bibbs and Diana Ferguson; one brother-in- law, Rufus Ferguson (Carol); her grandchildren: Jose Johnston, Darin E. Thomas (Leah), Kandice Wiltshire (Jeff), Erika Levy (Josh), Ashley Thomas, Robert King, and Dionna King; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Thomas; and her daughter, Barbara Miller.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1-2pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 2pm at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
