

Thompson entered this world September 1, 1934, to the late Nelson and Eleanor Washington-Creamer.
He was the last living member of his immediate family. “Pout”, as he was affectionately known as was of the Baptist faith and he loved the Lord. He was never married nor fathered any children of his own.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Francis Ann-Scott and Janice Williams; three brothers: James “Dimple” Creamer, Clarence “Butter” Creamer, and Charles “Duck” Creamer
After, his sister Francis passed away, Tiny Pout lived the rest of his life with Harry and Daisy Grantham, where he helped raise plenty of children! Porsche Grantham-Rolle (FL), Gito Williams (Frederick, MD), Julian Pace (Martinsburg, WV), Kevin and Paris Howard (deceased), Tiera Garrido (Martinsburg, WV), RaQwan Pace (Charlestown, WV), Darius Bush (Martinsburg, WV), and Joshua Garrido (Martinsburg, WV).
Airman Thompson served four years in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He worked at the Newton B. Baker Medical Center now known as the Martinsburg VA. Pout was an extraordinary entrepreneur. He owned Creamer Shoeshine Service in downtown Martinsburg, where you would see your face and your smile in your shoes! This was Pout’s passion. He was a longtime member of the Men’s Social Club of Martinsburg, where they played cards, other games, and sports. Pout was also a golf caddy at Stonebridge Golf course and he was also a professional landscaper.
Most of all, Pout will be remembered as a humble, loyal, caring man and friend. He will always be missed and loved in our hearts by family, friends and our community.
Friends will be received on Monday, March 22nd from 12pm-1pm, with funeral services to begin at 1pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
