Born July 8, 1993 in Jesup, Georgia, he was the beloved son of Paul Eugene Washington, Jr. and Evangelia Maka Washington.
Vangelis was a graduate of Beach High School in Savannah, Georgia. He was a student at Valley College in Martinsburg and was studying HVAC. He would have graduated this summer.
He was an outgoing young man who connected with people and was well liked by his family and friends. He was also a very talented singer and sketch artist.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father, Kelvin Alexander; three brothers: Darien Washington, Jaylen Washington, and Marinos Alexander; one sister, Marianna Washington; his grandparents: Maurice and Linda Ballard, Eleni Maka, and Vasillios Makas; great-grandmother, Julia Downing; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11am at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
