Born on December 27, 1940, in Van Vorhees, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Anne Pezek.
Virginia was a woman of faith who loved going to Bible study and reading her Bible on the porch. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center to play games and meeting up with her friend Stephanie for lunch each week.
She is survived by her children: Shirley Dokes (Jimmy), Deborah Catlett (James), Andrew Knotts, Theresa Hose (Tommy), and Joseph Knotts (Mindy); eleven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mervin Knotts; grandchild, Joshua Catlett; two brothers and one sister.
Family and friends will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 11am until the time of the funeral service at noon. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
