Born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in Alexandria, Virginia. He served in United States Navy as a Sonarman. After his U.S. Navy service he joined the Montgomery County Police Department. While working as a police officer for 22 years he earned his master’s degree from George Washington University. Following his service to Mont. Co., he served as bailiff at Howard Co. Courts for 15 years.
He moved to the beach in North Carolina where he continued to serve the community by volunteering for Meals on Wheels, he was president of the Lions Club, beach cleanups, Brunswick Co. Animal Shelter, and the Island Pelican Rescue.
Warren has lived in Martinsburg since 2019.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice of 61 years; son, Douglas (Christy); Daughter, Amy; grandchildren: Zachary, Natalie, and Joshua.
