Born January 4, 1945 in Oakland California, he was the son of the late Dr. Andrew May Jr. and Irene Engleman May.
Warren served in the US Air Force in Taiwan during the Vietnam War.
He attended the University of the Pacific and the University of Maryland and spent many years living and working in Rockridge, Maryland. He spent the last 16 years living in Martinsburg.
Warren played piano and the organ, loved to travel, enjoyed taking classes to further his education, and loved to ski.
He is survived by his siblings: Terrill J. May, Corene A. May De Simone, and Gordon I. May; and nieces and nephews: Michael, Mark, and Lisa De Simone, Erin and Lara Wood, Anna May, Aiden, Liam, Andrew, and Anthony De Simone, and Finn Tanaka.
Interment will be in Oakland, California.
