Born on December 2, 1940, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Frances Myers.
Yvonne was a homemaker who raised four children and later helped with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and watching gameshows, especially Jeopardy.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of over 66 years, Ernest V. Hedrick; her children: Cristal Hedrick, Allison Williams (James), Darren Hedrick (Deanie), and Greg Hedrick (Kristie); grandchildren: Christopher Hedrick, Keisha Williams, Chelsea Michael, and Grady Hedrick; great-grandchildren: Adair, Kyi, Jeannevah, Townes, Elliana; brother, Raymond Myers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roger D. Myers; and sister, Julie Hall.
Family and friends will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
