Allen Rollin Dunbar

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Allen R. Dunbar share his passing on Feb 02, 2024 from Melanoma. He was born on November 07,1955 in Seattle, WA to Eddy and Arline Dunbar. The family moved to Marysville in 1971. He then attended Pilchuck High School where he met his soulmate and life partner, Lisa Bowling. He graduated in 1974 from Pilchuck High School and graduated college with his degree in Law Enforcement in 1976. Allen and Lisa married on May 20, 1978. They welcomed their first daughter, Stephanie to the world in July of 1981 and their second daughter Amanda in April 1988. His girls were his pride and joy. He worked for the Snohomish County Sheriffs office for 21 years as a reserve police officer and worked for Boeing Security for 28 years before retiring in 2013.

Allen is survived by his wife Lisa, daughters Stephanie and Amanda, sons-in-law Luke and Bobby, adored granddaughters Kyler Raye and Emmy Kaye, his sister Sue and his much loved “sibs” Lori, Mark and Clydeena Bowling, his dearest friends Larry and Kaye Gill and Don and Becky Card. He also leaves behind numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Friday, February 09, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Marysville Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.

Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date in the Spring.
