

It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we confirm that our beloved mother, Barbara Jean (Marker), Charron, age 83, of Everett, Washington passed away suddenly on Friday, November 15, 2024 of Congestive Heart Failure at Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett, WA surrounded by her three loving children.
Barbara was born in Petersburg, NE; the 5th of 13 children born to the late Floyd E. Marker, Sr. and Ina B. Marker (Hardy). She lived most of her life in Everett, WA, but spent some of her early years in Marysville, Granite Falls, and Snohomish Washington.
After graduating from Granite Falls High School, Barbara enlisted in the US Army and spent 2-years stationed in Texas, where she met and married her first love and father of her 3 children, Franklin D. Charron. They divorced after 5-years of marriage and Barbara moved with, her 3 small children, back to Washington State, settling in Snohomish where she became a faithful member of Zion Luthern Church; baptizing and beginning her children’s early education there.
Barbara was blessed to be able to be a stay at home Mother until all 3 of her children were in school full time. By that time she had earned her Associates Degree in Secretarial Science from Everett Community College and began working as an administrative assistant for State of WA DSHS, later for Value Village, Volunteers of America, Nord Door as a glazer, and before retiring, for the VFW as an administrative assistant; all in Everett WA.
After retirement, Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, word puzzles, coloring pictures, playing Solitare, gardening, cooking for her family, playing with her grand dogs and Tuesday night dinners with her daughter Lisa.
Barbara was preceded in death by both her great grand parents, Reuben & Louisa (Blair) Marker; grand parents, Henry & Barbara (Lentz) Marker; parents, Floyd Marker, Sr & Ina Belle (Hardy) Marker; (9) aunts and uncles; sister Lois Kruyt (Bill); brother, Floyd Marker, Jr; brother, Fred Marker; sister, Margaret Bond; sister, Jessica Henry; sister, Mary Marker; nephew, Tony Ross; great nephew, Mikal Ross; and ex-husband, Frankin (Don) Charron.
Barbara is survived by the loves of her life and devoted children, Donald Charron; daughter, Lisa Charron (Dennis); daughter, Tracy Charron-Schrader (David); nephews Michael Ross (Patricia); Monty Marker (Jamie) and Jeff Marker; grand children, Niccole Buttler (Robbie); Brian Charron (Belinda); and great grand children, Lucas Charron, Krystal Charron, Aiden Buttler and Ashley Russell.
No services will be held at her request. Private family enternment to be held at Arlington Cenetary, Arlington, WA at a later date.
