

Born on October 15, 1942, in Seattle, Washington, Carol was the daughter of Walter and Bertha Davis. She spent most of her life as a proud resident of Ballard before moving to Marysville nine years ago.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Doug Hoover and her granddaughter Payton Reese. She is survived by her children, Jeff Hoover (Kristi), Tami Reese (Rob), and Karin Hoover (Dave); her grandchildren, Cameron Hoover (Alexis), Mason Hoover (Eve), Todd Reese (Kylie) and Tyler Reese (Jade) and her great-grandson Easton Reese. She also leaves behind her sisters Karuna Davis and Judy Harper (Mike).
Carol graduated from Ballard High School in 1960 and attended the University of Washington where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.
Family meant everything to Carol and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren supporting them in all of their activities and accomplishments. Carol was extremely talented, her hobbies included knitting, needlepoint and cross-stitching. Many family members and friends were fortunate recipients of her handmade creations. She always had multiple projects going on at the same time and was happiest when creating something special for someone she loved.
Carol enjoyed watching cooking and baking show competitions and anything Hallmark including their Christmas shows that started to air in July.
She will be remembered for her dedication to family, her creativity and the many thoughtful gifts and memories she shared with those around her. Her legacy will live on through those she loved.
