My breath catches when I realize you're really gone....how can this be? I miss you

My dear sweet brother, I cannot believe you've been gone a month today. I miss you so much, I'd give anything to have more time with you, you left us way too soon, you had so many plans. I miss your sweet nature, your smile, your help and support, I just miss being able to give you a hug....and hear you say "love you". It's hard to imagine me without you, for 63 years, you've been here for me, I know that will never change. I'll love and miss you forever,

My condolences to the Lundy family. I knew Craig from Boeing and in Marysville. He was a very proud man who will be dearly missed.

'Let me tell you something' I know of a guy, a pretty great one, who was devoted to his family, friends and his country. 

He was a man of strength, great compassion and loyalty. He saw great value in history...in the history of the country he served and the history of his family.  He stored treasures from his history 'lessons' and causally would share them without you knowing he was giving you a gift ... a memory of him. 

He grew up in a house where he had two amazing parents who gave him and his four other siblings endless adventures -some not as welcomed as others -but they made for the best stories later- and appreciation of each other as a family and each others friends. 

As all his siblings were raised...this man was witty and sensitive, quick with a punch line, but never harsh , just enough to remind you to take a moment to laugh and not take things to seriously. 

He never had children, but plenty of nieces and a single nephew, who he always welcomed with a big smile and had time to talk to. 

This wonderful  man I'm telling you about is my Uncle Craig. 

He was suddenly and unexpectedly diagnosed with  horrible news this last Wednesday. He took that information and handled it with the same grace and dignity he lived his whole life...with undeniable internal strength,  pride in his family, always remembering to smile, and just being in the moment. 

By Sunday, his body decided it couldn't fight the illness any further, and as a family we surrounded him and tearfully let him rest in complete peace, and to go be with his mom and dad (my grandparents). 

I am telling you about him because he deserved to be known for how great of a man he was...

I'm in awe of you Uncle Craig. I will miss you very much.

Craig was more than a co-worker he was a mentor and friend...always willing to drop everything and help when he could. He will be greatly missed..my thoughts are with the family at this time, may you smile knowing how appreciated he truly was.

I was sorry to hear of Craig unexpected passing. Go through Veitnam war and all those years of working and get this close to retiring and enjoy live and get it taken from him.
   He will be missed by friends and family.

Craig will surely be missed by the wonderful family we have. His kindness and smiling face we will keep in our heats forever.

Craig's friendship with me will always be cherished. I will miss the times we shared and that great smile and twinkle in his eyes.

We are so sorry to hear about Craig. Our prayers are with the Lundy family at this time.
