Dale Andrew Hebert, 60, of Arlington, WA, passed away June 14, 2018 from a long courageous battle with Cancer. Dale was born in Everett, WA, on September 16, 1957 to Robert and Pearl Hebert. Dale attended grade school at Our Lady of Perpetual Help and continued on and graduated from Everett High School in 1976. After high school he logged and then worked for Bayliner Boats before he started his career at the Boeing Company for 35 years. He was a very dedicated and hard working employee and was much appreciated by his peers. Dale retired July 22, 2016 to head off to fulfill his passion and love for fishing and hunting with family and friends. Dale met the love of his life, Melissa, at Boeing they spent the next 13 year enjoying many motorhome trips to Conconully, Jameson Lake, Oregon Coast and Lake Curlew. A few summers were spent traveling with the baseball teams and all the young boys who have followed him along the way. Some were spent adventuring, riding Quads, and doing Poker runs. Mixed in were countless fishing and crabbing trips and the last couple years included shrimping. Soon Maui vacations in February with friends became a norm. Melissa and Dale were pretty inseparable as they did everything together from working in the yard to sharing the ride to work and the annual November spent putting up the Christmas lights. Dale leaves behind his loving wife, Melissa and two wonderful sons, Joshua Hebert, 31, and stepson, Tanner Dryden, 21; mother, Pearl Hebert, brothers, Gerald (Becky) Hebert, Alan Hebert (Terri Wilson), Lyle (Judy) Hebert and sister, Mary (Mike) Tilley; nieces, Kim Hebert (Mike Hagan), Brooke Tilley and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His father, Robert Hebert and sister-in-law, Darcy Hebert preceded Dale in death. Dale was truly one of a kind, afraid of nothing, always living life to the fullest. Whether it was fishing or hunting, working in the garage or around the house. He was constantly going, never wasted a minute of his life. He had great attention to detail, unprecedented work ethic to say the least. There wasn't much Dale was not capable of doing or figuring out. Dale was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He deeply loved his family. He was always available to help family and friends. He gave so much of himself and asked for nothing in return. Our hearts are broken, and our lives are changed forever. We will miss him always. A special thank you to Dr. Douglas Lee and nursing staff at Edmonds Swedish Oncology and Edmonds Swedish Radiation Oncology. An additional appreciation for the love and support that Dale received from his mother and father-in-law, David and Marilyn, the countless trips bringing Dale to the Boeing parking lot to meet Melissa to continue the drive south to Swedish in Seattle and Edmonds for treatments.
