

David Dockstader was born on October 4th, 1963 in La Puente, California. His family consisted of his parents: Jetta and Leonard Dockstader. His two brothers: Steve Dockstader and Larry Dockstader. Spouse of 20 years: Debbie Dockstader. His five daughters: Synthia Dockstader, Keri Dockstader, Amanda Dockstader, Kristi Ashby, and Desiree’ Dawes. His five grandchildren: Toni Ortiz, Mickinsi Davis, Robert Ashby III, Brandon Ashby and Britni Ashby. His three great-grandchildren: Riley Ashby, Bobby Ashby IV, and Alyssa Ashby.
David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an honest, loyal and caring man. Dedicated to everything in his life, from his family to his career. He was serious, yet had a great sense of humor. David was a Master Brewer. He enjoyed making his homemade beer, drinking it, and sharing it with family and friends. David enjoyed music, traveling and sports. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Anaheim Angels. He enjoyed the Beatles and John Denver. His favorite song was “Somewhere Over The Rainbow/ What A Wonderful World.” David’s favorite place to travel was Alaska and he was able to take cruises there several times. He was an collector of coins, stamps and salt and pepper shakers. He enjoyed history and reading.
David passed away on July 7th, 2012 after a long and strong battle with esophageal cancer. He was able to pass peacefully in his own home with his family by his side. David was loved by many and will be truly missed.
