David S. Hagaman, 86 passed away in an accident at his home doing what he loved, working outside. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jack, Ed, Floyd; and his sister, Marge. He was born in St. Paul, Minn. When his brother, Ed, was employed by Boeing, the family moved to Seattle, Wash. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle. Dave worked at Boeing for 38 years and was a parachute rigger in the Navy. He leaves behind Iva Jean, his loving wife of 46 years; daughters, Janet, Melanie, Kim and step-daughter, Donna; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and another one due in October; and nieces and nephews. He had numerous interests: traveling, fishing, hunting, skiing, boating, scuba diving and golfing. Dave could fix anything. He liked traveling in the motor home and spending the winter snowbirding in Calif. and Ariz. He was regularly seen walking his little dog, Buddy, and taking time to socialize with the neighbors. He had a friendly wave and smile for everyone, even though he may not have known them by name. He loved his family, friends and neighbors and was a cornerstone for the family. It is with fond memories we say goodbye. The Memorial Service will be held on July 25, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 5115 100th St. NE, Marysville, WA 98270. Family and friends are encouraged to attend and celebrate Dave's life.
