

He graduated from Narbonne High School and California State University, Long Beach with a degree in political science. David worked at Lucky’s grocery store in California where he met Terrie McCormack. They were married in 1967 and over the next few years, they welcomed a daughter and two sons. David and his family moved to Lake Stevens, Washington in 1975 where he continued his career in grocery by working in management at Haggen stores.
David married his wife, Jo Ann, in 1992. They were married 31 years. They raised three grandchildren, Nicky, Jenny and Jacob. David was a talented chef who created delicious dishes for his family over the years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed cars, including aGTO that he sold and found again years later.
David is survived by his wife, Jo Ann, his children, Denise (Chuck) Macklin, Andrew (Lisa) Miller and Darrel Miller, his grandchildren, Faith, Delaney, Lauren, Katie, Nicky, Jenny and Jacob, his stepdaughter, Connie Green, his sister, Diane Phillips, his brother, Donald Miller and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Alberta Miller and his brother, Darrel Miller.
